Sliced chicken with lemon and thyme

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Greek yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon five spice
  • Thyme
  • Salt and pepper


  • Slice the chicken (thinly sliced ), onion and garlic. Prepare the marinade : pour the lemon juice in a bowl with a teaspoon of honey and add the chicken strips. Mix and let it rest.
  • Meanwhile, fry the garlic and sliced onion in 1 spoon of olive oil. Once cooked, set aside.
  • Place chicken with marinade to heat in olive oil. Add: spices and thyme and cook 5 minutes. Add the onions and garlic and let caramelized, wet a little if it reduced too much.
  • Off the heat, add the yogurt and mix well. Put it back on the fire to warm (yogurt should not cook).
    Serve with rice or potatoes and courgette.
